The other day I said good bye to my two door, low riding, non practical car and traded it in for a more baby friendly family vehicle. Oh, how the times are changing! I got a Mazda 5 and I must say, it's quite a sharp looking car for a family vehicle. It's black inside and out, seats up to 7 people and has sliding side doors for easy access with the baby. Great gas mileage too!
I'm very happy with my new purchase but the whole process of buying a car is extremely stressful! Some off those car salesmen are like vultures just waiting to attack. I'm sure the second they saw me comin'....little pregnant woman...they thought they had a sucker for sure! The first dealership I went to was the worst. They were very high pressure. At one point I found a car I liked but said I wanted to go home and talk to my husband about it first and the sales people looked at me like I was nuts! Too bad for them because they might have actually sold me the car if they weren't so pushy about it. I had such a bad feeling about the whole thing by the time I left that I didn't want the car no matter how good it was! I think I ended up with a better deal anyway with what I got but I'm glad to be done with the whole experience!
By the way, Paul and I celebrated our first anniversary yesterday! One whole year! Amazing...onward we go on our new babymobile!

Well, so much for all the gardening that was supposed to get done this past week. My mom and dad were in town to help me get things going out there and it rained everyday! In fact it was the most rain I've ever seen in Nashville at one time! We've had more rain in the last few days than we usually get in the whole month of May! We did have one day of almost sun and got a few things done in the garden....spreading manure and top soil and weeding..... but I'm patiently waiting for a dry day to get everything planted.
While we were all outside working that day, somehow a great big dead squirrel ended up on the living room floor for our viewing pleasure. Hmmm....who was it? The cat or the dog? Neither one was talking but Mrs. Weasley had an especially satisfied grin on her face. Looks like The Weasonator struck again......
In other news, today is very special day because our little Carson is having a birthday today! 2 years old! Woweee!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY CARSON!!!!!!
